What Was the Most Expensive Private Musical Performance in the World?

What was the most expensive private musical performance in the world?

Private musical performances are usually held only for the rich and most likely, famous and it’s not hard to see why. Although these performers and bands are great, is it really worth the money to hear them sing a few songs? You decide.

Celine Dion holds a private performance approximately two or three times a year. For each performance she charges 6.5 million dollars.

An investor from Texas, David Bonderman, paid the Rolling Stones seven million dollars to play for one hour at his sixtieth birthday party in 2002.

Neither of these though has broken the record.

The world’s most expensive private musical performance was done by The Eagles, who charged six million dollars to play one song. The song was “Hotel California” and it was performed at a private party in New York City.
